Vanilla has an image problem. Reduced to "sweet," flattened by extracts and synthetics, it rarely gets to show what it actually is: a wild, complex, deeply vegetal orchid, native to the tropics, that most of the world has never tasted or smelled in its true form.

Real Vanilla is green and smoky, milky and floral, sometimes even a little dangerous—closer to a rare spice than a dessert flavor. This Duo is our attempt to restore that dimension, pairing an Olive Oil and a Candle that each go straight to the source, working with the rare growers and wild ecosystems where Vanilla still exists as it was always meant to.

Golden Vanilla Olive Oil
We start with whole beans — both classic Vanilla planifolia and the rare Vanilla pompona — slowly submerged in our Extra Virgin Olive Oil until their heaviest, most complex notes bloom. The result is smoky, creamy, and layered with ripe Plum and Cherry, nothing like the one-note Vanilla you know. Drizzle it over roasted Squash, brûléed Banana, an Espresso Martini, and watch it disappear.

Jurassic Vanilla Candle
Wild Vanilla, stripped of its costume. This candle takes you to the home of the orchid: the low forests of the Yucatán, where a rare wild varietal grows wild in the canopy. Built with Green Vanilla, fresh Cypress, sacred Guaiac, smoked Saffron, and Vetiver, it captures the plant at its most dimensional: green, smoky, lightly creamy, and vegetal, like splitting open a live pod in the middle of the jungle.
